Oldest Child should be shipping in a few weeks. Al the games are scheduled to arrive at the warehouse on Friday and we will be put into the fulfillment center's queue. :)

Just a quick update, production is nearly done and the factory said they'd have these shipped before Chinese New Year. I'm not hopeful on that, but we'll see. My best guess is these will ship in March which would put us a month ahead of our original ETA, but we'll see.
I'm very pleased with the prototypes. We went with a magnetic closed box that is thick and sturdy. We're going with no commercial markings so this will feel like an artifact and not a "product".
We will have preorders up soon on our site.
We have not sent out the survey yet. Since this was a modest campaign, I'm thinking about using Kickstarter's new pledge manager, but I need to think about that a bit more before we proceed. I'll have more details soon.
We will have a booth at the Philly Area Gaming Expo next week. Maybe see ya there?

Upgrades!

Just a quick update.
Everything is nearly ready for the manufacturer and we've decided to upgrade the packaging to a magnetic clasp enclosed box. This is something I've always wanted to produce and I feel like this is the perfect project for it.
Here's the outside of the box with will be silver or gold foil (depending on the version) on matte black 2mm (thick) card stock. I want the inside of the box to be surprise, but it's getting design treatments as well.
What is key to this project is making it feel and appear old. I'm going to try my hardest to balance that with industry expectations, but first and foremost, Oldest Child is an experience and not a typical "game".
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this real. I love you for it. Oldest Child really is one of my favorite projects I've ever done and I know, after hearing all the play testing feedback, that it has some real magic to it.
